twitter now a superfund site of bad memes. reddit marginally superior.

reactivated my old FB account for just a minute:

not much has changed.

laughed at this. and this. and a few other things.

here’s something that’s not a thing: pro-“x” necessarily equals anti-“y” ex. pro-israel =/= anti-palestine but deep down, you know it does.

spent evening with a marginally less immunofucked sanj. recently recovered from septoplasty but conch piercing on full display. when one wound closes, another opens.

chef’d palak paneer and daal a la gumbo. a middling article on ethnic disparities in maternal care left us wanting for solutions. not enough to say it’s not enough.

tolerated snyder’s army of the dead (2021).  packed many punches, none acting wise. antisocial zombies conform to prosocial hierarchies. dave bautista caught in perpetual pre-sneeze position. ella purnell indistinguishable from rango‘s beans sanchez.

two million dollars? that’s a lot of cash. listen, i hate my life so deeply, if I had two million dollars, my life would change drastically.

i’m glad they decided to move the nuclear bomb up. i was getting kind of antsy.

you act like this is their prison. it’s not. it’s their kingdom.

a blur. locked away our virtue, engaged in dilettante debauchery sans victorian laudanum.

why is it called bulletproof coffee?
per se notum
.

garageBand *pause* garbagegand.

could you turn up your empathy dial for a second?
it’s already on max.

think turning water into 🍷 certainly the most useful of jesus’s miracles. bankrupt napa valley with a brita filter.

listened to…

(1) a swahili lullaby

A song from a B film

Imba wimbo (sing the song)
Wa upepo (of the wind)
Wakati unajua na (when you know it’s time)

Imba wimbo (sing the song)
Wa upepo (of the wind)
Wakati ndoto tamu (when having sweet dreams)

(2) a critical mass

(3) a siren song from hades

Through every season of your life, I watched you hold your lovers tight
and how I burned just to wait my turn, take your hand and lead you off this earth
But soon the bells will chime for me, they’ll sing an ode to finality
and it’s a sweet refrain that calls my name, leads me right to your resting place

received a welcome email from anne. dauntingly brilliant woman. she offboards next month. i onboard next week. not sure which one of us is less prepared.

threw a party. updated door policy: have you been shot?

full of moong and manchurian. staved off small talk. dallied the departing guests.
